🍽 Eating More to Feel Better is HARD

Hallo Reader!

Have you ever made a dramatic change like these to your diet…

& failed?

🥞 Eating a decent breakfast (~400 Calories) after surviving for years on just coffee or "not hungry" till 11am.

🍖 Stuffing in a chicken breast + protein shake worth of extra protein in an attempt to hit your app-advised protein number.

🥪 Adding 500 calories to your daily Energy In in order to get your metabolism out of chronic-dieting mode.

Yes, these behaviors are critical to your body's ability to prioritize our Longevity Organ's ability to best-serve our metabolic health and ability to move how we want into middle-to-older adulthood.

But making any of those changes above at the drop of a hat can feel so hard.

It puts stress on the way you plan your menu, shop for groceries, and prep food.

It can feel like way too much food in your belly. It can make you feel bloated & gross.

And ultimately making that huge change often leads to feelings that it’s just not going to work for you.

📢 But these changes can happen, without those side effects, and with the effect of feeling more energy, gaining muscle, losing body fat, and reducing menopause symptoms.

Here are two ways you can find more success with these tasks:

  1. Focus on the foods or nutrients you want to add to your eating routine, not take away. If you only take away, your metabolic system will adapt into even deeper into "diet mode," and typically your focus will be stuck on those chips or chocolate that you're desperately missing!
  2. Take your time! I spent 8 months boosting my protein from ~50 to 120 grams/day, requiring the first 5 months alone to get comfortable & consistent at 80g.

The strategies listed above are part of the guidance provided to my coaching clients who are interested in changing the way they eat to better support their life vision through their 40s & 50s.

I currently have 5 Online Coaching spots and 0.5 In-Person Personal Training Spots available.
